About the Artist
Originating from Utah, Lyndsey is an artist of many mediums and inspirations. Her passion for drawing began at a young age, evolving into a love for animation. She went on to achieve a BFA in 3D Animation and Visual Effects from the Academy of Art University and an MA in 3D Animation from Bournemouth University. Her passions in animation led her to work on indie video games in both the USA and UK.
Lyndsey is classically trained in oil painting, however has moved to watercolor for the fluid, sketch-like quality.
When she isn’t painting, Lyndsey can be found shredding the pow, mountain biking, hiking, or rock climbing- like a true Utah native!
After pursuing a career in 3D animation, she combined her knowledge of animation and character design with her true love: cats!

Paws and Claws Art’s beginning was a humble one: making small stickers out of a bedroom. Now, as a traveling artist, my goal is provide art at an affordable price- pet portraits should be for all pet lovers.
